Addax Petroleum NZE Inc. (“Addax Petroleum”) and the Gabon Cycling Federation (FE.GA.CY) have established a sponsoring partnership for the 2012 edition of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo race. Through this sponsoring agreement, Addax Petroleum will lend its support to the national cycling team and thus promote team spirit, healthy competition and solidarity.

The contribution made by Addax Petroleum is mainly intended to cover the costs of preparing and equipping the 18 Gabonese cyclists entering the competition. In September 2011, Addax Petroleum sponsored two Gabonese cyclists to take part in a two-week training course and participate in two cycle races in Switzerland (“Le Défi Boscardin” and “Criterium de Montreux”). This sponsoring agreement is therefore a continuation of Addax Petroleum's commitment to promoting sport and cycling in Gabon.

About the Gabon Cycling Federation (FE.GA.CY)
The Gabon Cycling Federation (“FE.GA.CY”) is an officially approved national sports association whose purpose is to organise, develop, monitor the teaching of and promote cycling in Gabon. Part of its task is to manage and organise participation of the national cycling team in competitions at national and international level. 18 cyclists have been selected to take part in the 2012 edition of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo race.
